Returns that do not fulfil the requirements of our warranty guidelines are not permitted unless the product is subject to a major failure to comply with a consumer guarantee.
For goods, there is a major failure to comply with a consumer guarantee when:
• You would not have purchased the product if you had known about the problem.
• The product is significantly different from the description, sample or demonstration model you were shown.
• The product is substantially unfit for its normal purpose and cannot easily be made fit within a reasonable time.
• The product is substantially unfit for a purpose that you told the supplier about, and cannot easily be made fit within a reasonable time.
• The product is unsafe.
If you believe you have purchased a product that fits into this category, you must initiate contact with the manufacturer within 30 days from the date of purchase for a full refund.
LIFETIME MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
We are so confident in the quality of our products that all Bailey Hand Trucks’ frames are covered by a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty against breakage or failure caused by faulty materials or workmanship.
This warranty covers all Bailey Hand Trucks models, and extends to the following accessories:
BHT450 – 450mm slipper pallets.
BHT550 – 550mm slipper pallets.
BHTDL – Drum lifter handle.
BHTRS – Ratchet winch and strap.
3 Year Operational Warranty *
All wheels, tyres and bearings are guaranteed against failure caused by faulty materials or workmanship for three years.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian consumer law.
In the rare case that you encounter a faulty product, it must be submitted for inspection and, if found to be faulty under reasonable use due to faulty materials or workmanship, the item(s) will be replaced or repaired at the sole expense of the manufacturer.
Please note: If you would like to lodge a warranty claim you must first contact the manufacturer by email or phone to arrange delivery of item(s) for assessment. No products will be received without prior authorization.
Any claim against defects under this warranty must be made by the original purchaser, and must be submitteddirectly to the Australian distributor, Haigh Australia PTY LTD.
Warranty claims relating to the wheels and/or tyres must be received withing three years from date of purchase.

Haigh Australia Pty Ltd bears reasonable expenses for claiming under the warranty.
You must submit details and proof to Haigh Australia Pty Ltd for consideration. This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under Australian consumer law.
